Le Le x Patta x Converse 5th Anniversary Project
Patta are without a doubt one of the strongest European presences in our industry today. Having a hand in so many great products over the years, they reach a milestone in 2009 as they celebrate their 5th Anniversary. However, beyond many of their awesome sneaker releases of the past, and upcoming, comes a more comprehensive story to the Amsterdam-based retailer. We recently had a chance to speak with Guillaume “Gee” Schmidt (pictured right), co-founder of Patta and Nathan Jobe of Converse regarding an upcoming project involving the two, as well as music group Le Le which features the likes of artist Parra (pictured left). The three-way capsule includes a Pro Leather, Chuck Taylor All-Star and varsity jacket. Beyond just this solitary collaboration, Patta shine through the bringing together of various acts beyond just apparel. The intersection of art, music and culture have inevitably created a rock-solid foundation for the Patta crew, which should yield many great years ahead of them.
Ian Ginoza x Converse 1HUND(RED) Jack Purcell “Epi Leather”
I just wanted to make something hopeful,” Ian says of his 1HUND(RED) Jack Purcell V3 shoe design, which is inspired by a single white blood cell. “It’s about a clean slate – something completely pure.” Ian’s 1HUND(RED) shoe isn’t his first positive vision. The graphic designer turned sneaker aficionado turned entrepreneur, has always made something of his good ideas. The founder of Kicks Hawaii, Ian is a pioneer in the world of sneaker culture with significant contributions including two 2007 collaboration debuts in support of Converse (PRODUCT) RED and his highly sought after 2004 Kicks Hawaii Nike Dunk collaboration. Bringing the spirit of aloha to everything he touches, Ian recently joined Converse, where he now spends his days working on the brand’s most limited product. The shoe goes on sale tomorrow Saturday August 29th and will be available at the following retailers:

Depending on the products sold 5 – 15% of the net sales of CONVERSE (PRODUCT) RED shoes goes directly to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
RonHerman x mastermind Japan Down Jacket & Vest
Cult Japanese fashion label mastermind Japan team up with retailer RonHerman on a set of down pieces, including a jacket and vest. Both commemorate the Ron Herman’s new store opening in Tokyo. The jacket and vest feature a tonal black color scheme with leather detailing, follow much of mastermind Japan’s staple aesthetic.
Nike Dunk High Black/Sail
Mixing up a simple two-ton silhouette with an intricate detail pattern, Nike works up a new colorway in their timeless Dunk Hi model for Spring 2010. The kicks take on multiple textile choices with a black and gum backdrop and retro-infused print. Look for these to drop in January at House of Hoops and select Foot Locker locations.
adidas Originals by Originals Jeremy Scott Snow Boots
Always playful in his avant-garde renderings, famed fashion designer Jeremy Scott returns for another season with adidas Originals, showcasing a new set of snow boots for his upcoming Fall/Winter Collection. A bit flashier than the previously seen blue/orange pair, this new colorway boasts a more vibrant multi-color scheme paired with a white/black distorted print throughout. A worldwide roll-out can be expected on October 1st, 2009.

Coming Soon: New Vault tees
Coming soon to Vault is our newest series of tees. We are introducing another version of our safe-cracker tees and believe me THEY ARE FIRE!!!!! As of now, we will have these tees available in red and in baby blue.
We can’t give you the full shots of the pics just yet but here’s a little teaser to get yourself ready for its exclusive release and when the tee drops, you’ll be showing that not only you represent Vault, but you REPRESENT HARLEM!!!
Supreme x WTAPS Award Reversible Jacket
Recognizing and sharing each other’s creations since their inception in the early nighties, WTAPS and Supreme once again get together for a special collaboration on their Award Jacket. The reversible piece finds each designer’s taste resonated through the design, featuring a classic baseball-style silhouette with felt lettering and a wool blend surface while the reverse side boasts a cotton/nylon combo. Dual red Supreme and WTAPS branding caps offer yet another timeless drop. A cushion is also planned to be released, made in the same wool blend as the jacket.
BAPE DOES IT AGAIN!!!
Tomorrow marks the release of A Bathing Ape’s latest CASIO G-SHOCK collaboration. The “Black Rainbow” DW-6900 features a predominately black body with the G-SHOCK logo done in a colorful multi-colored rainbow motif. The backlight features the iconic Bape Head when lit up. While this watch will be available at Bape Shop NYC on August 25th, the web-release is slated for Wednesday, August 26th.
