Supreme’s F/W 2009 line

Today marks the online release of Supreme’s F/W 2009 line. Eclectic as always, Supreme has once again delivered a strong range of garments and accessories in a broad and accessible style. In keeping with the season, the drop includes jackets that range from leather to varsity to parka and more. Hoodies, hats, shirts, tees, bags, belts and of course new decks all deliver and are available in an array of colorways, focusing on the darker greens and reds for the colder season. Taking place this past Saturday, here’s a recap of the ALIFE x Dim Mak “Cloak & Dagger” Event NYC which featured a strong crowd on hand to witness some of the most well-known electro DJs around including DJ Mehdi, Busy P, and Steve Aoki among others. Guest appearances also included Kid Cudi. Watch the video for the whole run-down of the night’s events.

Dizzee Rascal x Ben Drury x Nike ‘Tongue n Cheek’ Air Max 90

British rap star Dizzee Rascal has teamed up with fellow Brit, designer Ben Drury, on a new Nike Air Max 90 to coincide with the release of Dizzee’s upcoming LP ‘Tongue in Cheek’. An immediate eye catcher, the soles are finished with the ‘Dirtee Stank Recordings’ fly beneath the shoe’s transparent sole with white trim on the outsole, midsole and behind the tongue. The shoe is made of such strong materials as white suede and soft leather with tactical perforations on the toebox and collar, while the pink tongue– embroidered across the left and right shoes in the distinctive letterform– captures the ‘Tongue N’ Cheek’ theme literally and figuratively. Once again, Drury utilizes the power of 3M (as per his AM1 three years ago) in the form of Dizzee’s figure embossed on the heels and stitching on the laces this time around.

The truly killer touch is the translucent Swoosh. The Max 90 will drop in limited numbers at 1948 on Saturday 18th September.

Having already seen Schott NYC involve themselves in various Japanese projects, this latest news comes as no surprise as the American leather specialists open their new retail venture in Tokyo. The store, resembling a classic American establishments, boasts a wide array of the premier brand’s product, including their signature motorcycle racer jackets, perfecto rocker jackets, and an assortment of Japan-exclusive items. For those in the area, be sure to stop by and check out Schott’s new digs.
